With the heat wave we've been having the waters are more than refreshing. It can be a bit cold in the spring, but by July the water has generally warmed up to the point that you only get a slight cold blast when you jump in.

No way - they're very refreshing. They're not pool water, but they won't make you jump back out screaming, either. You should definitely give them a try!
