Maybe I'm a bit biased, as I've lived in big cities for much of my life, from Chicago to NYC, but I think the air in East Fishkill is wonderfully refreshing. Very clean and pure. I usually get that feeling when I leave a big city, but I've maintained this attitude for quite a while now.

It turns out that Fishkill's air quality is 44 on a scale of 100 (100 being the best), according to the EPA's index of ozone alert days and number of pollutants in the air. This is puzzling to me, as I live 10 miles south of Fishkill and have always thought the air was perfectly fine. I don't recall ever hearing radio alerts about the air quality. In any case, if you start feeling wheezy, there are 237 physicians per 100,000 population in Fishkill, so you won't have any trouble finding a doctor (national average is 221).
