"A small growing community"
Elanora used to be one of those suburbs that you thought your grandparents lived in (and maybe they still do) but its certainly become a Hot Spot in real estate with many people wanting to live here. The benefits are endless, you still get the community spirit of a smaller community and local (less busy) shopping centres like 19th Avenue but you are only minutes to Palm Beach, Currumbin estuary, Currumbin Beach, Tallebudgera Valley, Currumbin Valley and all they have to offer. Its like you are the centre of the pendulum and whichever way you turn you can choose your destination and all within a few minutes drive from where you live. Prices in the area have soared over the last few years and properties in the popular area of Lakewood Estate are extremely popular. Living in privacy away from the hustle and bustle but only moments to cafes, restaurants, or even more peace of the valleys! Take your pick, Elanora is certainly a gem not to be forgotten.

"Love it"
We loved living in Elanora. Schuster Park was fantastic for our young family to ride around. The suburb is a doggy paradise too, with heaps of off leash areas. Lots of child care and schools nearby, and of course the beach and talle creek a couple of mins away. Shopping wonderful too. It’s such a special place.

"Best mix of country and city."
Everything you could want, quiet family friendly suburb bordering bushland and beautiful valleys. Lots of options for shopping at 19th Avenue, Pines, or Tugun. Easy access to the three best beaches in QLD (Currumbin, Palm Beach, Burleigh), close to the M1. And the biggest advantage, a cool sea breeze (I swear its about 5 degrees cooler here than the rest of the goldie!)

If you don't have a need to drive anywhere north of Elanora, it's a good place to live. The M1 is a nightmare even on weekends, so forget about needing to be somewhere north at a set time.

The freeway is great and quick. It was tough during the major works around Mudereeba and Reedy Creek (I had to drive it daily) but now that section is finished the freeway is fantastic. 12 minutes to Robina (during works it was typically 30 minutes!). The next section of works doesn't seem to be affecting traffic flows much at all, but by the time the work is finished from the Pines the freeway will be amazing, not to mention the new active transport they are building next to the freeway and the new service road.

"Isle of Palms"
Bought a townhouse in the Isle of Palms, Coolgardie st, and my family and I love! Resort benefits, walking distance to all local amenities, very safe and friendly. Definitely recommend.
