"A quiet street where everyone keeps to themselves"

Lived here for 10 years. We look out for each other, but don't bother each other either. We know most of the cars that pass along this street. There is the odd loud party a couple of times a year - but it's what kids do when parents are away, so it's fine. The teens and uni students living with their parents in this street are friendly, not loud or are hooligans. Some elderly folks in this street too, as well as a lot of walkers and their dogs and some runners during different times of the day who always say hello or wave. There are also friendly Indians in this street, the smell of their curries do get a little overwhelming sometimes - but it's only 3-4 times a year where they fill up the street with their cars, so it's quite fine for all of us I think. There's a mix of Europeans, Indians and Filipinos in this street. Music blaring from garages on some weekends, but never for too long. Power tools and handymen seems to be always be doing something to their homes during weekends too, but again, never for too long or too often. Most gardens are neat and there are no loud dogs. Traffic is low because of the two entrances to this street. There are also parks at the end and beginning of the street. Seems to be a lot of stay at home parents and home businesses - so there's always someone doing something in their front yard during the weekdays. A nice mix of tradies with utes and office workers catching their morning trains from Rooty Hill or Mt Druitt. A safe enough street for kids to ride up and down the footpath on their own. Overall - a very pleasant street to live in! Thank you to all our neighbours in Everitt Crescent!
