Busses and Carseldine station on the Caboolture line within walking distance of Fitzgibbon. 5-10mins walk.

The 328 bus service (dreadful - but better than nothing) was discontinued in 2013. Fitzgibbon Chase is serviced only by a very early morning (inbound) and early evening (outbound) 341 bus service... There is not a single inbound or outbound bus servicing Fitzgibbon Chase for 10 hours during the day. If you don't drive, then walking, taxis or community transport (for the elderly) are the only options.
Depending on where your home is located in Fitzgibbon Chase, it can be a lot more than a 5-10 minute walk to Carseldine Station (as stated in the previous answer)... There are regular train and bus services from Carseldine Station - but getting there can be an issue for those who don't have access to a car. In the heat and humidity of Summer, walking to the station is dreadful; not forgetting that you also have to walk the same distance from the station on the return journey. For some residents (e.g. elderly; young children; those with health issues) the walking distance is beyond their capability.
