i've lived in franston north for 2 years when i bought my house for 180k.
Now, 2 years later, the houses dont sell for less then 240k so that tells you something!!
I like Franga, i wish people could just come and see for themselves.

So you think prices will continue to rise?

yes i do believe that prices won't stop there. Frankston north is growing and will continue to grow for the next 5 years or so. The rent is also up from it was. Hopefully expensive rent will drag out all the scum that still gives Frankston North this awful reputation.

Does Frankston have a chocolate cafe yet? That's a sure sign of funkiness :-)

"Haha, they need like a SAN CHURRO BAR or GLORIA JEANS. No, honestly.. It will rise at a very fast pace regardless, you can already see now that the poverty surrounding Frankston (particualy Nth Frankston) many years ago are now being pushed toward into far outer suburbs."

Just moved into Kareela Rd. I'm loving every bit of what Frankston has to offer.
And the bayside/marina projects that are started/about-to-start look just magnifcent!

Not yet...people from Frankston go to Mornington for the cafe scene......Give it a few more years though, it has all the potential, just needs the planning and community push to make it happen.

Hi,

It sure is. Rent prices are rising as well as home price. Great shopping complex and all close to the water. How can it possibly not go up in value.

Thanks

Emily

I for one think Frankston is a great suburb, and has had a bum wrap for way too long. I would be looking out for it's rise in a few years.

It's also got a great score on the site as well, so the public can't be wrong!
