Late 30's professional couple from the UK
Frankston, VIC 3199 is located within the Frankston local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
We're hoping to move to the Melbourne area in the first half of next year. We like the sound of Frankston(beaches,affordable rents,lots to do). Is there any areas we should avoid and what are the roads like into Melbourne,travel time-wise?

Hey Bex :),
Personally I would say anything in the south has immense amounts fun, safety and overall great beaches. But, the north on the other hand is bad, let me tell you, I would not send my worst enemy there, they will probably get robbed on their very first day and step on a used needle just laying in the streets. Take my word north Frank is bad. DO NOT GO under any circumstances.
