Hello Rebecca there are many suburbs you can look at to invest within Geelong and the Surf Coast areas. One of the biggest growing areas is Armstrong Creek and Mount Duneed, there are new houses being built everyday and people are moving into the area at a rapid rate.

In Armstrong Creek there is a Major Shopping Centre that been been built, stage 1 has been completed now they are starting on Stage 2, it is going to be the State of the Art shopping precinct so that means if you have a property in this area the value of that property is going to rise every year.

Torquay is also a great place to invest, the prices are a bit higher but it's a great investment and you will make a very nice return if you were to sell. It is close to the beach, Great Ocean Road and their are plenty of areas to invest within pockets of this suburb.

If you are looking to buy an investment Property within Geelong or the Surf Coast please contact me I will be able to guide you in the right direction and provide with you with updated information.

Any investors are looking to regional parts of Victoria such as Geelong suburbs and the Surf Coast that usually record strong price growth and have the benefit of the overflow from the strong population growth occurring in Melbourne.

Hugging the southern coast, there are some great hotspots for investors. Houses for sale in Lorne are sought-after and the area is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road with much to offer in lifestyle, while still being close enough to be able to access solid employment opportunities for those commuting to Geelong.
