What's Leopold like?

I'm from Warrnambool and thinking of buying a property in Leopold so just looking for some feedback about this area. Is it safe? What's the community like? Would it be easy to transition into? What catholic schools would children (Girls) go to, secondary and primary?

Leopold is becoming very popular with its brilliant location mid way between Geelong and the coast with a very comprehensive new shopping mall ----and some great views and walking tracks---primary school highly regarded i hear.

Thanks for the feedback brennc, looks like we've settled on Leopold because of its great location and price.

Really----I have connections there---I live elsewhere in Geelong....love so much about Geelong.
