Reviews of George Street, Waterloo

"Peaceful Place to live"

I only live the west end of the George St which passes McEvoy Street to Bourke Street and thus the comments are for this end only.

It's really quiet place to live, and best thing is stree parking has no limit. And the traffic is always good.... The bus is handy go to city. Train is not the best yet, as Green Square Statioin is still privately owned, the tickets are fairly expensive. And they are building a new Coles store close to Moore Park Garden and it is supposed to be open end of 2009.

Shopping is not the best, but as long you have car, it's really handy. Broadway shopping centre, Surry Hills Shopping Centre, Eastergarden Shopping Centre are close by driving.

Overall, the street suits young single/coule who owns car and enjoy quiet life.
