Reviews of Glen Street, Glenroy
"Quiet, safe and only 14 kms from city !"
A very quiet and safe street. Neighbours all say hello and are friendly. The street is walking distance to shops, a golf course and the train station- without being so close that you can hear the trains. House prices are increasing rapidly here and rightly so !
"Classical and Quaint"
Glen street is a pretty street, with well maintained houses (for the most part). Most places would be about 50 years old, and built to last. The occasional new townhouse doesn't draw attention to itself.
The street is quiet, with only local traffic passing through it. It is far enough from the train line to only hear the occasional hum of the V-Line, and equally well placed in relation to the Western Ring Road.
A 15 minute walk to the train, or if driving, access to the station's ample parking without having to cross any tracks makes for convenient travel to the city. And easy access to the eateries on Wheatsheaf road ensure take away can be picked up, paid for and returned to home within 15 minutes.
A great little street.
