"Great place to live - easy access"
Walking distance to river where you can kayak along upper reaches of river and see birds, fresh water crocodiles, fish or just take in the scenery, which is prettty amazing.
It is also within walking distance to Riverway where you can take the family for a nice cool swim in one of the two amazing pools, you may decide to have a coffee at the coffee shop while watching the children in the pool. (There is a lifeguard on duty every day for your safety). There is bbq's, children playground, and lots of large trees where you can relax on the grass when you get tired. The best place to live in townsville I believe, no traffic jams trying to get out of one of those new suburbs cropping up around town where these is only one or two exits to get out of which can be a pain at peak times.
