I want to move in Goulburn with my husband and 4 YEAR old son
Goulburn, NSW 2580 is located within the Goulburn Mulwaree local government area, part of the South Eastern Region in New South Wales.
I am bookkeeper wants to move in Goulburn with family from Darwin. MY husband is handyman. Want to know what sort of jobs are available ? Weather check online looks good even in summer but locals can tell more. What is unemployment rate? I heard it is agricultural area. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

Yes. Rural outside of the main City. Goulburn is a nice looking city with leafy streets. Mixture of old and new buildings/homes near the CBD, and many new homes/estates being built on the outskirts on decent sized blocks. NBN available or will be soon. Many cafes, restaurants, pubs, clubs. Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Aldi, Bunnings, Target etc available. Easy drive to Canberra or Sydney. Many families. Friendly people. I recommend taking a drive to Goulburn and spend a day driving around, and walk around the CBD to get a feel for the place. Homes are still cheap to purchase compared to Sydney or Canberra (for now).
