I'm looking to move up that way. What are some decent areas to rent in please?

I can see the rent is super cheap but I'm a bit stumped as to which areas are good for families, quiet and safe. Are there any I should avoid?

@AngeG1 have you checked out the suburb reviews? Reviews provide excellent info on areas. This is what one person said:
"Gympie is located between Nambour and Maryborough on the Bruce Hwy. Gympie is an old Gold Mining Town and one of the major attractions is the Historical and Mining Museum. Also of interest are the Woodworks, Forestry and Timber Museum. Gympie has some lovely parks and lakes and being close to the coast you can drive to nearby Rainbow Beach or further on to Hervey Bay. Your accommodation needs are taken care of by your choice of motels or caravan parks. There are good shopping facilities in the area as well as sporting and recreational pursuits. Property prices in Gympie were stagnant for a long time but are now on the rise."
