Is there a new-comer group of some kind in Gympie?

We had to move to Gympie for the cheaper rents but even though it's an aesthetically pleasing town it's very staid and conservative. I know there's loads of new people coming here all the time and I'm wondering if any of you would like to form a new-comer group? :) Rosie.

This town is very closed off to people who did not grow up here. It is not a suitable place for single people. Unless you want to volunteer or go to church you'll find it hard to meet people to integrate and build relationships with. Even then very difficult.

Have you had any luck with organising a newcomer group?
