Reviews of Hamlyn Heights, VIC

"Hamlyn Heights = "Home""

I absolutely adore Hamlyn Heights as a area to live. Having been here for two years now. Tree lined streets which are always presented well and looked after, Everyone looks after their homes and front gardens which make it a gorgeous suburb to walk around. Friendly neighborus who smile and say good morning is a regular occurrence. A real family feel area however a mixture of older couples, young professional couples starting out in their first home. Walking distance to Minerva Road shops which has a brilliant cafe called Soft, Post Office and a few other amenities. Several great schools within walking distance including Hamlyn Banks Primary School. The sun sets are spectacular which sets over the West side of Hamlyn Heights. A mixture when it comes to style of homes here such as your traditional brick built family homes with good size back yards as well as brand new double story town houses. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about this area, I would love to connect with you as a local of Geelong.

"Family friendly, terrific amenities"

Hamlyn Heights offers terrific amenities from the Vines Road Community Centre, public and private primary and secomdary schools, loads of parks, reserves and sporting facilities, local shopping strip, public transport options and easy access to the Geelong CBD and Ring Road. With a large number of families and older residents there is a real community feel.

"Family Central"

Buying a house and moving the family in to Hamlyn Heights can only be described as a great decision. The majority of streets are leafy and the blocks are all a good size. Access is fantastic to the city with bus routes running through out the suburb and along the major connecting roads of Church Street, Ballarat Road/Midland Highway, and the Geelong Ring Road (for Melbourne Commuters and for easy access to the Surfcoast. Vines Road and Minerva Road provides the handy shops such as Newsagency, Milk bars, Fish and Chip shop and other convenient shops.
Good schooling for primary and secondary students and some lovely architecture from yesteryear cap off a great suburb.
