Reviews of Hope Street, Spring Hill

"Inner city living with a little compromise"

"Moved into a brand new complex on Hope Street from inner city Sydney and was expecting to 'slow down' but it felt as though I had never left Sydney! Traffic is a constant on Hope Street (mostly during business hours) as it is a fairly major road connectng Boundary and Leichhardt Streets so be mindful of this. This suburb is as close to the city as it gets and so this may be a non-issue for those who enjoy the convenience of close proximity to the CBD. My fiance worked in the city and would take about 15-20 minutes but is very hilly and gives the carves a good workout! Medical facilities are second to none at both nearby medical centre and private hospital. Newly opened child care facility up on Leichhardt and ample transport and educational facilities (Business College, Personal Training College and schools all nearby). People seem to keep to themselves around Sping Hill, may just be my perception. Food and dining is average and is quite pricey in terms of value for money. I wouldnt recommend it as a place for a young family as the road is far too busy, nearby back streets with leafy outlook would be a much better and safer option. Anyone purchasing in Spring Hill would enjoy strong ROI, subsequently rentals are quite pricey."
