Reviews of Jindivick, VIC

"Picturesque & Private"

Jindivick is a country town on Jackson’s Track in Victoria located in the Shire of Baw Baw. Well-known for its rolling hills and stunning scenery to Westernport, Mt Baw Baw, and more.

Jindivick is the perfect retreat from the Melbourne busy lifestyle and traffic, while offering the best of both worlds in this quiet, serene and scenic hidden treasure of the Baw Baw Shire. Jindivick is home to art galleries, restaurants, private reserves and the Nangara nature reserve adjoining the Bunyip state forest.

It is home to Jack’s at Jindivick restaurant, local cafes and the general store. Other places to explore include the Jindivick Tavern, The Jindi Caf’, Brandy Creek Winery, Gypsy Creek Winery, Parnassus Winery and the Robin Hood Inn. Jindi Cheese is located in Jindivick, and is Australia’s largest specialty cheese manufacturer.

A favourite of ours is the monthly farmers’ and arts’ markets displaying the array of local talents and crafts, including craft lessons and sessions at various venues all over town.
