Is Kalorama a fire prone area?
Kalorama, VIC 3766 is located within the Yarra Ranges local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.

Known to be on watch list but which green wedge area isn't ?
It's the wettest side of the mountain so very green and lush not dry like the other side of the mountain or other suburbs such as warrandyte
Has gum trees but lots of European trees
Plenty of rhododendrons known for in the area
Many residents join the CFA and we just act responsibly if it's too hot and hasn't rained for a while and high danger rating get off the mountain !
Yet to happen in the 6 years I've lived here and residents living here longer yet to experience
Thankfully !
