"A Great Cairns Suburb"
Kalyan Close is the best of both worlds. Approximately 15 minutes to the CBD of Cairns it sits nicely between the established suburbs of Redlynch (2 p-12 schools, Macdonalds, futsal complex, shopping centre) and Smithfield (2 primary, 1 P-12, 1 high school, Larger shopping centre and business area including fastfood outlets, bunnings, coles, woolworths, retail shopping). Approximately 3 minutes to Smithfield and 5 minutes to Redlynch.
Caravonica also has its own primary school. Lake placid is only a minute away with a bar and freshwater swimming and there is plenty of open space and park areas.
The beaches of Cairns are at your fingertips as well as the ski park, Jabukai and bungy jumping.
Public transport is excellent.
