Cane Toads

We lived in North Queensland with all the cane toads and our dog never had any problems. Down here there are a few around and the dogs leave them alone. I guess if you have the kind of dog that likes to chase things then it could be a bit of a problem. The worse thing is that they seem to like sitting near the front door of the houses I have lived in 😖 lol

There are quite a few cane toads in Karana Downs thanks to Colleges Crossing waterway nearby. If you are concerned, try somewhere a little further away from the water. There isn't really anywhere that doesn't have any cane toads at all but we don't have anywhere near as many as they do in North Queensland. I have lived here all my life and had dogs in backyards and never had a problem. It does happen, but not as frequently as you would think.
