Can you live in Kealba but send your kids to Keilor schools?

We are looking at houses not far from the corner of Green Gully road and Sunshine Ave. I'm not too keen on some of the schools results from Naplan in the St Albans areas. I'm just wondering if it's possible to get my kids into Keilor Primary if I live in a different zone? First child is only 2.5 years old, would I need to apply early?
