"Everything in close proximity"
I moved to Noble Park nearly a year ago from Chadstone and it was the best move I ever made. Kelvinside Road is within walking distance to the supermarket, many shops, the train station, two pubs with great pub food, and there is a pathway through one of the courts that gets me to the huge sport/park/swimming centre. I walk a lot more now that I live so close to so many things. Kelvinside Road also has convenient access to Princes Highway (1 min drive) and Eastlink. You can get to the city in around half an hour.
