Looking at a house on 41 lord street East Kempsey, does anyone know what that area is like to live.

It doesn't have a great reputation. Several run down, cheap rentals and walking distance from South Kempsey, where a lot of the "action" is. Smells heavily, due to bats and I believe there is heavy lead contamination in the soil, due to it being beside the former hwy through town and the age of the homes when lead paint was prevalent. Frequent break-ins in that street and a few undesirables. The town is improving though, and so will Lord St. I wouldn't raise small children there though, due to the lead.
