Looking for advice on Dondingalong and Verges Creek...

Looking for any advice on these two areas. Dondingalong seems more of a retreat into the hills and trees and worry about bushfires while Verges Creek a bit more open (and flat) and worry about floods and mozzies. Is that about right? Expect people will be about as friendly as people are in most semi-rural areas in either location.

Yes and no, it really depends what you want you are looking for and wanting to do, Dondingalong can give you more privacy, good rural blocks for price, animals, growing fruit and veg. Verges Creek would be better land for growing and some new estates 1 acre blocks at reasonable prices close to town not on flood plains. Best of luck.
