The climate is beautiful with short winters and more sunshine than the Gold Coast! The town has all the basic services and facilities, plus groups such as the "Men's shed" and clubs including golf, bowls, Rotary, Lions, garden & camera clubs.
Public transport is excellent with buses & trains to other towns.
Unfortunately the hospital doesn't have a full-time doctor and sometimes emergency treatment is slow or requires travel elsewhere.
