Reviews of Kilvington Drive, Emerald
"Great Town For A Weekend Drive"
Before Chris and Marie's Plant Farm closed down Emerald was a busy little place to be on the weekends. Because of all the great deals the nursery had people would come from miles around just to pick up a few trays of Box Oz. With not many great places to eat out in this small town the Emerald Bakery Cafe went from being a little place to get a pie into a wonderful place to sit down for a coffee and a focaccia on a sunny day and has been lucky enough to be able to expand and thrive even after the closure of the towns main attraction. Emerald still attracts a lot of cyclers who love to take a break at the Bakery. As for the rest of the shopping this little location leaves a lot to be desired. With only a small menswear shop and kids wear shop there is not much besides the Bakery and the Emerald Lake which also attracts a lot of tourists during the warmer months.
