Reviews of King George Street, Victoria Park

"Less commuting time means more time to spend with family (^-^)"

I don't need a car even if I am working in NOR (North of the river). I saved a lot of money from not keeping a car. The public transport (in this case the bus 72 & 75) are extremely frequent and reliable. The bus route don't go on the congested freeway so it is very smooth even in peak hours. The less time I spend on commuting to work means I have more time to spend with my family.

Great for

  • Great bus services & cycling routes
  • Playgroup full of happy children
  • Friendly & happy neigbours

"Convenience, safe, green, quiet & affordable"

The street is on the hill of Vic Park and has the best view of the city!!

It has its own park (Hawthorne Park) and held regular open air cinema (free for the residents to enjoy)!!

The city council has blocked right turn to Berwick street, which reduced the traffic of the street and make the street quiet and safe.

Centro Vic Park shopping centre & restaurants are just at the corner. Victoria Park Primary is just few blocks away. No matter which part of King George street you live in, you will find yourself with easy access to bus stops for city & Curtin university.

- Residents of the Shopping Centre side can take 170,176,177,179,220,284 to City, Curtin & Carousel shopping centre
- Residents of the Berwick side can take 72, 75 to City, Curtin & Carousel shopping centre
- Residents in the middle can take 284 to Curtin & Belmont Forum shopping centre

Great for

  • Great city view
  • Next to shops, schools, parks & bus stops
