"Lake Argyle Viewpoint"
It’s around a 20 minute drive along this road, after turning off the Savannah Way/Victoria Highway, before your come to Lake Argyle Village – a very welcome watering hole that serves the best fish in town, Silver Cobbler – the specialty of the house. They also have camping and onsite accommodation. The road itself is sealed, two lanes and well maintained, but beware of grey nomads towing caravans! The reason you have driven here is to drink in the majesty of Lake Argyle – and it is truly awe inspiring! A drive across the dam wall is a must!
