Wanting to move to Tasmania from rural WA for around $250k

There are a number of small country towns within commuting distance of Launceston where your house and acreage may be available on the outer skirts of. I find that people new to Tasmania often have the wrong impression of time of travel here vs distance., i.e. within " 40 minutes of the city" can get you a long way out. So is your 30km based on an idea of time of travel? I've noticed some lovely properties recently which could suit, around Lilydale to the North-East of Launceston, Westbury to the West (good highway), and South.
