"Dont' listen to the real estate agents on here! High crime rate tiny blocks & roads!"

this used to be lovely now full of ghetto housing estates like caravan parks! Roads too narrow & the residents here park on the road and get fined if parked on the verge so fire trucks/ambos and bin man can't get through! So much crime now with the ghettos here and the new estates. you only have to drive down the streets to see all the security cameras up and get on the local community pages to read the crime rate! police always in Little Mountain now! Over priced packed out!

"Great for families and I love the parks"

I have really enjoyed living here since moving from Buderim. There are so many walking tracks and parks, my son and I love feeding the ducks and swans at the lake in Ivadale. Our Neighbours are friendly and we have twice yearly Neighborhood get togethers. I also love living so close to the beach, the highway and to all amenities, Little Mountain is great!

"Perfect location"

This is a great place to raise a family, or to be close and far enough away from everything.
Ten minutes to the beach
Ten minutes to the Bruce Highway
Five minutes to Nicklin Way
15 minutes to the Sunshine Coast Hospital.
Little Mountain is a peaceful, friendly, family area and set just off all the main roads but close enough that you don’t feel fatigued by the time you get there. Blocks are a good size, and the area is beautiful, kept clean by home owners and the council.

"Great for family life and a safe place"

Where we live is near lakes, schools, parks, trees, convenience stores and its not far from the beach. I have seen this place grow over the past 13 years and its become a place with a good name. House prices have maintained well and they have been climbing steadily. I have seen swans in these lakes which have migrated from time to time.

"semi-rural yet with all services and close to everything."

"Little Mountain"is a general term for the postal area yet it consists of vastly different parts. The original part of Little Mountain is Sugarbag Road with its winding road, large blocks (some rather steep) and parts of it affording great views of the coast and Caloundra city. The next part (originally developed as "The Three Worlds of Little Mountain") to the south of Caloundra Road consists of larger blocks (i.e. 1/2 to 2 acres) and rated as Rural Residential , sports bigger than normal homes in a long established spacious and well treed setting .The latest development of Little Mountain, prevously know as "Parklands"and " Ïvadale Lakes", offers smaller blocks, close proximity housing and greater movement of residents. It's main benefit (?) is close proximity to schools and a proposed shopping centre.

"Great Place - 5km to Beach and 5km to Highway...."

Lived here for 5 years, great location easy access to Bruce Highway, Some of the best beaches in SE Qld are only 5km's away. Feels like a big country town, neighbours in my area are great and contrary to the other comment, I have no housing commission near me - atleast not that I know of! Meridan school is great and very community oriented, kids are very happy there. Have Aldi and other larger supermarkets within 5 km's also, public transport available - bus can take you to Landsborough railway station less than 20 mins away.

"Safe Haven"

So close to all the essentials... shops, schools, parks, beaches and yet just far enough away to not be in the "thick" of it. I love it... piece of mind... a lovely safe and friendly environment for us. We made the transistion from a couple to a family and have loved that we are getting the opportunity to raise our children in this place!

"Great location, Close to Beaches, Easy access to Bruce Hwy what more could you want"

I call Little Mountain home and have done for many years and also being the Local Property Consultant for RealWay Caloundra could not speak more highly about this suburb. All the residents are very friendly and most present their homes with pride. Everybody knows everybody and there is a strong community spirit. Great for people of all ages from the first home buyer right through to your retiree, we cater for all.

Bon

Hey Darren, perhaps a little bias because you are a real estate agent and need to sell homes here.

Hey Bon I was here before I started selling have a great day

I bought off the plan, first stage of ivadale lakes. Come and walk around the tall trees near the lakes, feed the ducks, swans, grand kid loves the wild life and you'll see what he's talking about, great place.

this is bias as you are a real estate agent Darren !! disgusting tell the truth!! you've been a real estate agent here for years!! of course you wont tell it how it really is with the huge crime rate now and packed out over priced ghettos . you only have to get on the community pages to see the crime rate and see the police here all the time ! And see all the security cameras up in nearly every house here!

This page is run by real estates with vested interest in selling property
