Lonerganne Street, Garbutt, QLD 4814

Chandler Street has totally surprised me in the fact that it's so quiet and livable. Before i purchased in Chandler Street i heard all the horror stories/gossip about Garbutt but to be honest, none of them have been remotely true. Big, spacious block, great neighbours, no flooding. The biggest reason i like living in Chandler Street is that it's so close to everything - Literally 5-7 mins peak hour to and from town; Less than 5 mins to Bunnings; Mitre 10 on Ingham Road two blocks away; and Walters IGA open every hour you can think walking distance.

I think Garbutt just needs the right people with renovating minds to move in and this suburb (and in particular Chandler Street) could nudge shoulders with any posh suburb around town. It's got so much potential. And not to mention its very undervalued. West End was influenced by the previous property boom, and i believe Garbutt will be engulfed by the next.
