"Road to the beach"
The least busy of the two main roads which takes you into the emerging suburb of Altona. Starts off with industry buts ends in beauty on the beach. Some nice properties and historic straw built houses are on this street, 2 mini shopping centres, girls private school and Westona rail station. Maidstone street offers easy access to Altona central via Civic or the Esplanade plus easy access onto Queen street to Altona Meadows, Kooringal golf course. At the industrial end is Koriot creek road which offer access to the Westgate for either a ten minute trip to Melbourne City or thirty minute drive to Geelong.
