Being a local resident of a serene court location for over 50 years now, also having the pleasure bringing up 5 children; watching them play daily in the court has lead me to my own thoughts of never ever living anywhere but a court location. This part of majestic Watsonia being the oldest & definatley the most sort after ( with house sales from $400,000 - $785,000 in 2009 ) has an abundance of character weatherboard homes on large blocks, tree lined streets, parklands & is surrounded by the magnificent Gresswell Wildlife Reserve. Within 5 minute walk to shopping centre, schools, train station & Library, what else would one be looking for to bring up a family to be safe & sound as they build there lives together. The Watsonia R.S.L is also fantastic for lunch/dinner & a small flutter on the pokies (if you like that sort of thing) & thankfully there is no pub bringing young disrespectful imbosiles into this lovely area we call home.
