"Beautiful place to live"

I have lived here for 6+ years now and I love it here. There is a shopping centre here with pharmacist, bakery, supermarket, butcher, barber and more! Everyone seems to know everyone. It's almost like a small country town but in suburbia. You are about 23k's from the city which is great in an investment sense and takes about 30mins up and back. There are plenty of schools, parks, access to public transport (Coolaroo and Roxburgh Park train stations are only a stone throw away).

niceg
niceg Mate I know you. You are a realestate agent. Your comment doesn't count. Please tell people there is airport overlay in place in meadow heights which restricts construction and subdivision. There are resi kids int he area running around destroying public and private properties.

Erhan Kalistu I'm not hiding that I am an agent. One click on my profile and everything comes up. Most of Dallas has an overlay that does not allow one to build at all but is that stopping the demand? No.

Meadow Heights in some areas, does have an overlay however the overlay from memory is MAO2 which allows one to build but must subdivide 300m2 for one dwelling with the other obvious council approvals required.

I never in my comment advertised that Meadow Heights is for developers but there are townhouses and units being built all the time. Heck, I even sold one for a record price at 3/5 Bronco Court for $400,000.

These "Resi kids" are in every suburb, if it were so bad no one would be buying into these suburbs.

"Great Little Suburb"

Meadow Heights has come long way, It has improved very much. It is great for families, school redevelopment project, very pleasent little shopping centre with character. New train station is about to be open.

The suburb is just 18km away from CBD, short ride on the Broadmeadows line train.

In general my rating is 9 out of 10, mainly for the peace and quiet and public transport.

"Great place to live"

Meadow Heights is a great place to live. Suburb is just under 20K from CBD, close to school, park, health club, shopping centre, transport.etc, what else do you expect? I am living in this suburb from last 3 and half years. The growth in this suburb is unbeleivable. It is one of the fastest growing suburb in Melbourne. Firoz Taqvi

"Large Turkish community; ideal for families"

Home to a large Turkish community, Meadow Heights has a population of almost 15,000 people and is situated roughly 21km north of Melbourne’s CBD. A relatively young town that was established in the ‘80s, Meadow Heights is serviced by a number of local bus routes. And while it offers little in the way of local attractions, neighbouring towns have all the necessities for adults and children alike. Meadow Heights does, however, play host to several youth centres and sporting clubs as well as a shopping centre, a skate bowl, a number of public parks, a bike trail, soccer fields, picnic areas and wetlands.
