3o yea rold female nurse looking for change of scenery

Mossman, QLD 4873 is located within the Douglas local government area, part of the Far North Region in Queensland.

I am a 30 year old single female. Im currently studying enrolled nursing and I live in a small community in south australia. I am considering moving to this area next year for a change of scenery, meet new people and new opportunities. I was wondering if anyone else has made the move here and how easy it was for them to meet new people around my age and fit in. I know some small communities can be quite clicky as I live in one. Would it be suitable for someone my age to live here and si the community supportive of new comers??? are there work opportunities for nurses?

Locals are cautious with newcomers. I've been here 6 years and seen so many people come and go. I won't bother with getting to know someone unless they are here for a few years. After that though you're set to meet amazingly friendly people.

I returned to cairns after living in Brisbane for an extended period of time. Everyone I found in the tropics were friendly and it was easy to get re-established again and make new friends.
