I've lived in Norlane West for 6 years, and i have had no issues living here at all in this time. Park my car out the front and it's avoided any damage, i can go to Corio Village or the local shops without any dramas, although you can see some interesting types around, it's not really any different to most other places to be frank. My street is nice and quiet, the kids play among themselves on school holidays and in summer weather, and i'm pretty happy to be living here i reckon.

There may be areas (or maybe just particular houses) where perhaps some problematic people live and wander around, but by the same token there's a lot of new development in Norlane with the 'New Norlane' initiative, and when those 2 b/r houses can be got from around the $240K mark, it's pretty good in that respect.

One thing wth Norlane, you're only 10 minutes from Geelong city, close to many shops and the roads in Geelong's Northern suburbs allow for easy commuting. Put it this way, Geelong West, Manifold Heights and the like have houses twice Norlane's median. They are 10 minutes away..so i reckon here is a bargain.
