Are there hidden costs to living at Lightsview?

Hi, i have built 2 houses in lightsview and lived in one.

There are no 'hidden' costs in Lightsview. If you decide to build a home there you will be up for a one off charge of $4500. This cost is associated with the connection of recycled water. Recycled water is quite an exclusive thing and only done in a few suburbs. It is great because recycled water is basically free and is used for watering gardens, toilets and the laundry applainces hence; long term you save money. The supply charge is about $20 a quarter.
The only downside to this $4500 connection fee is the bank will not lend you the money for the connection so you may have to come up with a slightly larger deposit OR have your mortgage broker negotiate with the bank.

You will make money on the value of your home by building in lightsview and you will save a lot of money on stamp duty when purchasing land only.

it is bit crowded but lots of nice man made lakes and new houses and structured and well planned area. modern. lots of family life. i only bought an investment property here. only thing there were some epa ( environmental clauses) but no hidden costs i know of.but then i didnt build.

Stay away from this horrible place, do no waste any of your money here.
