Best fancy restaurants in Richmond?
Richmond, VIC 3121 is located within the Yarra local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
I'm looking at taking some people out for dinner and I was wondering if anyone knows of some really top class restaurants in richmond? Looking for something pretty fancy, so if anyone's got any ideas, that would be great to find out!

If you like steaks, Vlados on Bridge Rd is great, taken a few interstate visitors there. Also been to Fenix which is up around the Victoria Gardens shopping centre, overlooking the Yarra RIver. The restaurant has been renovated but I must say is a little expensive, with typically smaller food sizes (but top quality).

One of the great things about Richmond are the diverse numbers of restaurants available - from fancy to cheap and nasty. Like MelbourneFan said above, Vlado's is great for steak lovers. Some other nice haunts include
a) Richmond Hill and Cafe Larder (great fancy breakfasts)
b) Aux Batifolles
c) The Cafe @ Hermon and Hermon (fancy lunch while shopping for fancy homewares)
d) Pearl
