What's the best gym with pool in Richmond?
I'm looking for a good gym in Richmond with a pool. (Pool is a must, gotta do my lap swimming).
What's the best one in terms of:
- Equipment?
- Social atmosphere?
A gym with a good social atmosphere, where people are friendly and talk, makes the daily routine so much nicer.

When ever I need to hit the pool in Richmond, I goto the Richmond Baths (now known as the Richmond Recreation Centre (http://www.yarracity.vic.gov.au/Services/Yarra-Leisure/Richmond-Recreation-Centre/).
They have a huge pool (great for laps), baby pool section, sauna and gym equipment/section.
It can get pretty busy during the weekends but there's still enough room to use the facilities. There's people taking their swimming seriously doing laps after laps, to people just playing and being social. t's a great place. It's been a few years since I last went there, but I think they have whole new renovation. My sister uses their facilities with her daughter every weekend for swimming classes.
Oh - it's undercover - an entire warehouse roof and walls cover the entire facility.
I've never used the gym part of the facility though. So I can't comment about that.
