Moving to Geelong
Parents own a house in Rippleside opposite the park by the water front. Would you recommend the area in terms of safety, community and transport? Thankyou

Hi,
Yes I would absolutely recommend Rippleside for all of the above.
It is an extremely safe neighbourhood, it’s mainly families living here.
It’s a very friendly community, which is rare today. Everyone will say hi if you are walking the dog. Margaret st and Edward street even have a Christmas party every year. As for transport, you have North Geelong train station nearby, the bus stop on the Melbourne road. Or you can walk or ride into Geelong city it’s that close.
