Well, I haven't seen any, that doesn't mean that they are not present, however... there is a warning at the ferry terminal in River Heads about crocs. Stingers? Not sure about them.
There are no beaches in River Heads or Turtle Cove so you should not worry about them, just mangroves, sandflies and mosquitoes that will drive you crazy.

Well thank goodness for mozzy nets & fly screens hey!

Sandflies (Actually Midges) are small enough to get through any fly screen and they will drive you crazy if you are in any way sensitive to insect bites.
