"Very safe and quiet pocket of Bulleen"
Pretty safe, houses mostly on large blocks with big backyards, not much around; go to Doncaster, or further North for shopping centres/bars/restaurants.
Public transport into cbd consists of making your way to a bus stop to get to Heidelberg station. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk away on Manningham road. Multiple petrol stations. 15-20 minute walk to the small shopping plaza (Bulleen Plaza).
Walking distance to Banksia and Birrarrung Parks and Heidi Museum.
Manningham road can get very hectic and quite a bit of hoon driving throughout weekend nights.
5 minute drive to eastern freeway entrance on Bulleen Road.
