"Parks, parks, parks"
All that lawn and someone else mows it.... there are more parks in the aptly named Parkville than you can poke the proverbial stick at. Mornings and evenings see a steady stream of walkers, joggers, and other 'participants' circling Princes Park. There are leash-free areas for the furry family members. The Melbourne Zoo is within a short stroll of Royal Parade as are the State Netball and Hockey Centre, Princes Park football stadium, and the restaurants, bargain centres and retail shops of Sydney Road. Only 15 minutes by tram into the CBD, the area is also serviced by the Upfield train line. A superb location.
