Live on another island, but here are some places I am aware of and may be possibilities, there may be more on Russell:
Kabab Shop, in IGA shops complex, can walk up from ferry terminal - 0734091518
Aunty Alice's Cafe - short walk up from ferry terminal - 0734092402
Bowls Club on Jackson Road,need to take taxi or Little Bus or drive up from ferry terminal - 0734091330
RSL Club, walkable, but probably a little too far, so taxi or Little Bus or drive - 0734091372
or if all else fails the IGA would have take away meals you can put in the microwave?
