Is Russel Is a nice place to live, I have been told yukky stories of lots of unemployed but not listening to gossip.
Is this a nice relaxing place to live & good for a child to grow up?

Hi Kylie,
We owned a property on Russell during the 90s and 2000s and it was a tip. What is happening now are the riffraff are being pushed out by southerners fleeing to Qld. The social dynamic has improved. Just be aware though that if you choose to live anywhere on Bay Islands and something goes wrong, ambulance, fire and police are limited. It's what you make of it.
