Where to park if you live on Russell Island

I do not live on Russell but one of the other islands, but as no one from Russell have seen fit to answer you, I will endeavour to help. Not quite sure what you mean about parking on Russell. If you mean at the ferry terminals, there appears to be 2 or 3 fairly large parking areas, for many cars, which seem to be adiquate? If you mean the shops, there is a large car park at the IGA, which I have never seen completely full, when visiting the island. There is always available parking in the main street. Plenty of parking for cars and boat trailers and room for picnics down at the any of the waterfront picnic parks or boat ramps. I don't think you are going to get gridlock on Russell, only a bit of a line up with cars waiting to board the vehicular ferries sometimes - 6 - 12 vehicles max waiting! Hope this helps
