"A great country community"

Scarsdale has so much to offer and is so close to town. It has everything you need including a great primary school, super market, post office, hotel. All this within a short drive to Ballarat. A great community. Shani Stevens, Director, One Agency Ballarat, [email protected]

"We Love it"

I've lived in various areas of Geelong, but Newtown has to be the best. Everything at your doorstep, river, shopping, restaurants, beach, city (much quicker getting to Melbourne now with new highway addition). Awesome. Have to say though that the MAP on the right is NOT Newtown, Geelong! Needs to be rectified!

"loved newtown"

I have lived in Newtown and came from interstate. I loved it . Packo st has great shops for food and shopping. Some great pubs too. Found the area very safe and full of friendly people.

"Close to the city but with a lovely village feel."

Newtown has it all. It's walking distance to the city centre and to Kardinia Park. The Chiwell end of Pakington street has lots of cafes, restaurants and a nice local pub. There's lots of little fashionable boutiques and shops, which all combine to make a lovely local village feel. It's walking distance to the river which has a 20km walking track along it's length.
There's several good primary and secondary schools in the area too, which make it a perfect place for families with kids.
