Seachange to Narooma (Kianga, Tilba) - is the pace too slow for a young family?

South Eastern Region is located in the state of New South Wales.

We have family Narooma and know it well however I would like to hear from young families that live in the area/s. Is there a nice community of young people, particularly ex Sydney dwellers? I am worried it is more of a retiree area and I will miss the social/excitement aspect of Sydney.
