Is there much crime in South Lake? Is there any Homes West homes in the area?

Not really compared to other more expensive suburbs around. Look up crime stats

South Lake has a number of different sections. Some will have Homes West and you really just have to judge by how well the property is kept and driving past to see what they are like. There are some very nice sections that would be great for families. The crime levels are a little more than in other areas, but even in the good spots people walk through and break into cars (as an example) so that is not always a good marker. North Lake is perhaps a little better if you like the area.

Well loved here for about 6 years. Plus they recently built about 4 years ago a large 200+ police police station down the road about 1.5km from middle of South Lake. for me I live around old established families and new families so feels safe.

Samj's andwer is pretty on point. it is a pretty safe and quiet area with little issue from Homes West places, but the south and East parts are better than the western side near North lake Rd
